Intel cut its forecast for its fourth quarter on Monday by about 10 billion U.S. dollars, said the inventory shortage caused heavy losses to the PC manufacturers.Luorui De said that although there are pressure on the PC market, but he did not believe “in the current quarter, there are significant pressure.” Luorui De said that in the early stages of the current quarter, the supply of hard disk is in good condition, and thus to enable the market to maintain a “very good performance.” He said: “In the first quarter and second quarter of next year, you may see some kind of ‘clinical’, but I do not believe that supply chain will have problems.” Luorui De added that even if the PC industry’s overall production has decline, AMD still has a big opportunity to grab market share. Intel has not yet reached for comment.
